You can enroll by first filling out the registration form or calling 07725732719 for more information and help. Enrolment is not guaranteed until a payment is made towards registration.
We appreciate the advantages of having a school uniform but we also believe that parents find it easier that we do not put any restrictions on uniform or certain dress code. We only ask that parents bring their child in appropriate clothing for school and playground activities. Furthermore, we do have a school book bag that is compulsory for all the younger ages and is charged as part of the books fee.
To speak to a teacher you will need to contact the administration team. They will be present in the reception during school operation times. Alternatively, you can call or contact them on WhatsApp on 07725732719. During school times teachers are often busy with teaching and supervising their children. For safeguarding reasons we want their full attention on the children. Therefore, we are happy to arrange a meeting with the teacher place/platform suitable for all.
Yes; every week. This is posted on a WhatsApp group designated to your child’s class. We encourage any questions about the homework to be posted on there and we will respond in a timely manner.
Unfortunately, we do not have a sophisticated support facility for this. We will look at every application and where a child requires learning support boost; we will look at every option available to ensure we can accommodate and support all the other children’s needs.
We will always do our best. Parents are required to make us aware of any medical issues their child has so that management and teachers are aware of how to support the child. We will have an honest and open conversation with parents about the provisions that will need to be taken, so that we are able to work together to facilitate a child’s medical need.
The storage space we have available is very limited. We will try our best to ensure that lost property is reunited with their owners. However, we advise to make life easier for all that all belongings are labelled with the child’s names. This includes: their books, outer clothing, bags and lunchboxes. Also, to contact us straight away if your child has left something at the school.
We appreciate that sometimes it makes life easier for your child to bring something with them into school. However, we strongly advise against anything to be brought in; including toys, games, collectibles or electronic equipment like tablets; as this can cause issues between the children. More importantly we cannot take responsibility for any damage or anything lost and thus it is better served they do not bring anything in.
You can contact the administration team on admin@yaseenarabicschool.co.uk or fill out the message form on this website to request to volunteer. We are always willing to involve people at our school especially teenagers to develop their skills. However, roles are limited and we will explore what is suitable for all parties.
There is no specified date that that enrollment comes to an end. We will stop taking registration once spaces are no longer available. We have previously stopped taking registration as early as July in previous years. To avoid disappointment, fill in the registration form as soon as you can and we will be in touch.
We run an Open Day at the beginning of our academic year. If government restrictions allow we will be doing one for the next academic year as well. You can contact us and we can arrange a tour during our operational hours. We operate on most Saturdays from 10am to 2:30pm. Check out our calendar to see when we are present at the school. Please do not visit the premises on any other day to enquire about our school.
Our teachers are very well trained to pick up on any child not learning at the required level. We will arrange a meeting with yourselves, the management team and teacher to discuss what can be done to support you and your child.
We have a very detailed child safeguarding policy in place and we do not tolerate bullying in any form. We ask that you contact the school as soon as possible and we will arrange a meeting with yourselves, child and management team to discuss this further. We will also get any other relevant people involved to be able solve the issues. Children are constantly supervised and we tackle any aggrievances between children straight away. However, there are times when it can be missed staff/management are approachable to listen and deal with these sorts of matters.
Contact the management on 07725732719 as soon as you can to inform them. We will fill out an incident report form and advise on the next steps. We strongly urge that you speak with your child that for future reference they inform a member of staff as soon as they are hurt so we can apply medical care right there and then. Also, so we are able to fill out the form and run an immediate risk assessment.
